If you’re interested in becoming a NWS certified Skywarn Spotter, the Monroe County ARES group has arranged a training session in Madisonville. You do not have to be part of Monroe County ARES or even a licensed amateur to attend. You simply have to have a desire to become a willing participant that can provide accurate local severe weather conditions to the NWS and/or local Skywarn nets.

Skywarn Weather Spotter Training will be held on February 23, 2023 at 6:00 PM at the Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department, located at 1530 Oak Grove Road, Madisonville, TN.
